Thus, a light blue envelops the decor of this romantic bedroom with its delicate and radiant hue. Above the fireplace, a golden mirror reflects the bedroom space in a gradient of light and shadow. The tranquility of the place offers you a silence conducive to rest. From the window, you can admire the staggered top of the cedar as well as the rounded and generous crown of the lime tree. Bathed in the light of the interior courtyard, “La Chambre Rose” lives up to its name. An elegant toile de Jouy collection from Pierre Frey lines its walls: a crowd of characters roam the cotton fabric and cheerfully enliven the room. Taking place in the heart of the room, the two Majorelle-style beds were acquired in 1998 during the sale of the Hôtel Terminus Est in Paris. They are now equipped with very comfortable bedding guaranteeing you a relaxing stay. For quiet reading or writing time, a desk facing the window gives you this special moment.

"La Chambre du Chef" will let you savour the sweetness of the Anjou region and its fresh, fragrant air. A large window gives you a glimpse of the park, with its majestic display of century-old trees. The refined décor is a soft shade of green, echoing the linden trees in the garden. The bed, once that of our grandparents, has been enlarged to its present size (king size) thanks to the skill of an ironworker. The corner of the room is adorned with an elegant mantelpiece topped with a Napoleon III mirror. In this peaceful corner, you can indulge in some fascinating reading. “La Rouge” is as soft and discreet as the light that shines there every morning. Comfortable and relaxing, it will allow you to enjoy the delicious calm of the countryside. A beautiful family cupboard decorated with a long mirror gives you the space you need to store your personal belongings. In 2010, this room became "Royal" because King Albert and Queen Paola of Belgium stayed there for three nights!!

By sleeping in this room, you are doing the same thing as the pilgrims who from the 12th century slept there when they were on the road to Santiago de Compostela or when they came to the Abbey of Fontevraud. “Hébergement de Mestré”: this has been the name of our house for so many centuries. In the 16th century a dwelling was installed there, from this period there remains in your room a particularly rare ensemble: a fireplace and its vegetable garden (added in the 17th century). The vegetable gardens were built of stone, with one or more locations (crucibles) for the embers, and topped with a cooking surface pierced with holes to place the pots, including the one for the soup. Discover under the window on the courtyard side, a magnificent sink carved from a single block of stone weathered by time, also called "water stone". Staying in the 12th century barn of the Domaine means immersing yourself in a magical place which has continued to evolve over time to finally return to its original vocation: to receive, welcome, sleep...

To earn this pretty family suite, you have to climb no fewer than forty steps! The room overlooks the treetops of the garden and offers you a clear view of the land surrounding the estate. On the horizon stretches La Gélande, one of the most beautiful pieces of land in Mestré. This fresh and bright suite earned its name. At the entrance, a wrought iron sofa bed features a series of cushions with floral borders. A few steps further, you enter the parents' bedroom, equipped with a large soft bed with fresh sheets... The Family Suite “Le Potager” consists of 2 adjoining bedrooms. The parents' bedroom with its large king size bed promises comfortable nights and waking up to the lovely "south-facing" morning lights on the vegetable garden. Family furniture, a trademark of Domaine de Mestré, blends wonderfully with today's design spirit: AMPM, Maison du Monde, Chehoma... The retro decoration of the bathroom highlights the Italian shower which is a delight for young and old. Separate toilets are a real plus for the whole family. In this endearing little corner of Mestré, the vegetable garden, with its morning and evening lights, will be unforgettable: passing through the gate of the vegetable garden is like rediscovering an image from our childhood or immersing yourself in the world of Béatrix Potter and his famous Peter Rabbit. Vegetables, herbs, flowers, clutter, weeds, hoe, string, watering cans....
