La Table OF Mestré
We'll be delighted to welcome you for dinner, which takes place in the main part of our house. With its three dining rooms each with its own distinct identity.
The Empire dining room with its period furniture and the start of the exceptional collection of wallpaper from the manufacture of Joseph Dufour, one of Madame Rosine Dauge's direct ancestors (fifth generation).
The Draperies dining room, named after one of Joseph Dufour's most beautiful trompe-l'œil draperies. Two magnificent pieces of ebony wood furniture (allowing us to display our incredible whisky collection) complete the warm atmosphere of this room.
The Red Dining Room with one of the most colourful wallpapers, inspired by an Italian painter, "Madonna on clouds". This dining room is perfect for large family gatherings!
Our restaurant opens its terrace in fine weather, so you can enjoy a soothing view of the garden and its centuries-old trees. Savouring a menu featuring vegetables from the kitchen garden, surrounded by greenery, evening lights and wood pigeons grazing on the lawn, gives full meaning to the word 'plenitude'.
OUR CHEF
Chef Jean Baptiste PORQUET and his team will take care of you for the final act of the day. At La Table de Mestré, from Tuesday to Saturday, we offer a menu based around 4 starters, 4 main courses and 4 desserts, always including a vegetarian option. We invite you to come and discover how our dishes reflect the seasons, the harvests of our vegetable garden and the produce of the region.
Sometimes it's good to find a theme to let the Chef express his culinary talent in a different way, to find artists to accompany the moment and to sprinkle our evenings with the unexpected.
Our 2 Barbecue Evenings in July and August. Our 4 Jazz Evenings in June, July, August and September.
Warm up for our 2 Russian Evenings in mid-November and mid-December. The Truffle Menus will accompany your winter evenings from mid-November to mid-March, giving you an unforgettable experience of the flavour of the Black Diamond.

Our Bar
The bar will walk with you and follow you to every corner of Mestré: the inner courtyard lounge, the garden, under the trees...
To accompany your choice, an exceptionally well-stocked menu will allow you to find a great classic (Port, Pineau, Pastis...) or a local nugget (La Piautre beer, Combiers Gin or Kir, Giffard mint pastille...).
As we're big fans of whiskies, we've selected some 40 for you to choose from: Talisker, Talisman, Greenspot, Nikka, Amrut...
Our 120-strong wine list will take you through our appellations: Saumur, Saumur Champigny, Bourgueil, but don't hesitate to try a Saint Joseph or a Saint Emilion...
Aperitif in the cellar,

You can also enjoy an aperitif in a more unusual way. We are delighted to invite you to a gourmet snack at La Table de Mestré. Join us for an afternoon of sweet and savoury delights on our terrace or in the lounge, depending on the season.
On the menu, an exquisite selection of homemade desserts, accompanied by a variety of fragrant teas, tasty coffees, fruit juices, bubbles or wine. It's the perfect opportunity to get together, share a pleasant moment and savour some delicious treats.
